LACON, Texas — It’s not the typical bed in a LACO hospital.
It is a one-of-a-kind bed, designed by the same man who designed the iconic LACMA.
In LACOMA, you can rent out your own bed to people who want to stay in their home for the night or stay in a hotel room during the night.
But it’s not just a bed that people can rent for the evening.
You can also rent out a bed to an individual who needs to be alone for a few hours, or even just stay at home and sleep on the floor.
“It’s a very unique way to be with family or friends,” said hospital bed rental coordinator Jennifer Landon.
Landon said people can get up at 5 a.m. to go to the bathroom.
Or people can sleep on their bed in the middle of the night when the temperature drops to zero.
She said the LACOs are a big hit.
There are about 800 beds in LACOCs across the county, but Landon said it can take up to four weeks for the beds to be fully booked.
For the past few years, the county has been looking for ways to get more people into the beds.
The county is using an ad campaign to sell bed space in hotels and motels and at other LACCOs, and it’s also creating its own bed rental sites.
The LACLAS have been running bedsharing programs at several hotels in the Lancaster area, but it’s been slow getting people to sign up.
Now, with the county looking for new bed rental options, Landon is excited to find more beds in the county.
This is the second time in recent weeks that Landon has rented out a hospital bed.
Last weekend, she had people at LAComa Hospital stay in her hospital bed for the entire night.
She said they really enjoyed it and were so grateful that someone was looking after them while they slept.
If you’re looking for a room in Laco County, you’re not the only one.
