Medical students struggle to get a proper diagnosis after fatal accident

A medical student at the University of Maryland has died after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Route 30 and Wabash Avenue in Washington, D.C.

According to the medical examiner’s office, the student was driving on Route 30 when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a parked car.

The medical student was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle that was struck was treated and released from a local hospital.

The driver of another vehicle, who was not hurt, has been taken into custody.
