Here’s who’s in charge at Trump International Hotel & Tower in Dallas.
The hotel has been in a state of disrepair since November of 2016 when Trump abruptly shut down his Dallas hotel and moved his family’s property to a larger hotel on the property.
In January, Trump’s lawyer, Sheri Dillon, said she would be resigning from her position as the hotel’s chief executive officer, though she later walked that back.
The hotel is now owned by Donald Trump.
The president is not directly running the hotel.
He’s running the Department of Health & Human Services, which oversees the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
Dillon, a former governor of Texas, has not been able to keep her position since she was fired from the agency in September.
The department said in a statement that Dillon has been relieved of her duties.
Dillon was also the subject of a federal investigation into her handling of the hotel after it was discovered that she lied about her own employment and residency when she worked for the federal government in Texas.
In a statement, the department said that Dillon “has taken the lead in identifying the challenges to the operations of the building and has worked closely with the Trump Organization to ensure that these issues are addressed.”
It’s unclear how Dillon’s position is impacted by the resignation of Trump’s lawyers.
Dillon did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Trump has frequently been critical of the federal health care system, including his criticisms of the Affordable Care Act, or ACA, and its Medicaid expansion.
The president has also criticized his fellow Republicans for not supporting him enough on health care.
The Trump International hotel in Dallas has been a hot spot for protests.
There have been multiple protests in the city since the inauguration of Trump, including one on March 7 that shut down Interstate 35W in downtown Dallas.
